Geoff has a strong interest in IT and undertook some training through TAFE in this area. He was one of the first GPs in the Barossa and in Australia to embrace computers in General Practice and had the distinction of generating the first computerised prescription in the Barossa Valley. He was instrumental in driving computer uptake by other GPs in the region and was pivotal in setting up access to practice patient clinical records from the hospitals and by other doctors from their homes. He still builds and repairs computers for friends and acquaintances as well as embracing all new technology and exploring how it can serve general practice.

Geoff enjoys travelling, regularly travelling overseas and in Australia, as well as camping and enjoys participating in the Variety club of SA activities as a medical officer for the annual 4x4 Challenge.

Geoff has a professional interest in Anaesthetics, Surgery and Obstetrics as well as emergency medicine and trauma management. He regularly works at the local hospitals as well as a visiting Anaesthetist to the Gawler Health Service. He has three children all attending local schools and one small dog.
