Gene-Lyn completed her medical degree and a Bachelor of Medical Science at the University of Melbourne. She completed most of her specialist training at the Mercy Hospital for Women, but has trained under all of the major Obstetric and Gynaecology hospitals in Melbourne with stints at the Northern Hospital, Northeast Health Wangaratta, Monash Medical Centre, the Women’s at Sandringham, and Epworth Freemasons Hospital.
Gene-Lyn is excited to join Northern Obstetrics and Gynaecology Specialists at Northpark Private Hospital. She also works publicly at the Northern Hospital, and is currently undertaking a Masters in Reproductive Health through the University of New South Wales.
Gene-Lyn enjoys obstetrics, and feels privileged to care for pregnant women and their families in such an exciting time in their life. She also provides a wide range of gynaecological services including management of contraception, pap smear concerns, menstrual issues and pelvic pain; as well as surgery if this is required.
Outside of work, Gene-Lyn enjoys travelling and scuba diving. She is a keen (and hopefully ever improving) knitter, and has a little boy whose rapid growth keeps her busy with new knitting projects.
