Fredrick completed his MBBCh at the University of Calabar in 1999. Worked at the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital and Grimard Catholic Hospital, Nigeria and commenced general practice in 2002. In 2007, he joined the Hervey Bay and Maryborough Base Hospitals until 2009. He returned to general practice in 2009 and obtained his FRACGP in 2011.
