Dr Frederick Chan graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1997 and is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners since 2009. After completing medical training as a student at the Austin hospital he has since trained, traveled and worked interstate and in rural Australia, both as a general practitioner and as an emergency department doctor. In 2008, after relocating back to Victoria, he has since settled down and become a general practitioner in the local region. Dr Chan is a provider of shared maternity care with the Mercy and the Royal Women's Hospital. Outside of the clinic, Dr Chan also provides aged care and nursing home visits to his patients, and works at after hours clinics the Austin Hospital Emergency on weekends.
