In his varied career, Dr Frank Zhu has gained invaluable experience in many different areas. After graduating from Secondary Military University in Shanghai, China in 1983 he went on to pursue a number of different roles. While practicing in China, Frank became an associate Professor of Medicine, as well as a member of the infectious disease committee at Changhai Hospital and a respiratory physician. After he moved to Australia he started practicing medicine here in 2000 and has been working as a GP since 2006. In his practice as a GP, Frank has a particular interest in infectious diseases, cardiovascular disease, diabetes and respiratory conditions. In his own time, Frank is interested in singing, swimming and table tennis. He has also authored a handbook entitled 'Australian anti-infection handbook' which was published in 2009.
