Dr Fiona Boyd has over 30 years experience as a GP, and has practiced throughout the Newcastle area during that time.
Dr Boyd has special interests in diabetes, mental health, women and children’s health, and in particular, geriatrics and palliative care.
She also has a Diploma in obstetrics and gynaecology, and has worked as a VMO in palliative care for over 25 years, regularly visiting nursing homes and admitting to Toronto Private Hospital.
In her spare time, Dr Boyd enjoys spending time with her husband and four children, tennis, horse riding, cooking, reading, and travelling.
