Upon completing her GP Registrar training, Fenella was awarded the RACGP's SA/NT 2011 "Outstanding SA/NT KFP Achievement" Award of excellence.

As part of her undergraduate studies Fenella undertook a medical student elective placement in India, where she worked with patients from a broad range of socio-economic and cultural backgrounds, including those living in extreme poverty. Her experiences as a medical student in India and travel throughout Asia, including living in Japan for 12 months, contributed to Fenella's growing interest in travel medicine.

Fenella joined Globe Medical in 2012, where she is a valued member of the clinical team. Earlier this year Fenella undertook a four week trip to where she was involved in a primary care medical camp in rural Nepal. Working at Globe Medical has enabled Fenella to combine her strong interest and experience in Women's Health, Sexual Health and Student Health with her interest and ongoing training in Travel Medicine.
