Dr Karin Attebo practices general ophthalmology and has a special interest in glaucoma and cataract surgery. She studied medicine at the University of Sydney.
Dr Attebo undertook her ophthalmology training at Sydney Eye and Prince of Wales Hospitals with a PhD in Epidemiology of Eye Disease. She was a co-investigator in The Blue Mountains Eye Study. She did a fellowship in glaucoma at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami and Seattle. She is a clinical investigator in several multi-centre trials & is on the College Board of Basic Science Examiners. She is a clinical senior lecturer at Macquarie University, Australian School of Advanced Medicine.
