Dr Debby Bachmayer
Debby joined The Mosman Practice in 2001, having moved to Australia from London where she worked as a GP for 14 years. She did post graduate training in general practice at the Royal Free Hospital in London. Including geriatrics, psychiatry, paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology.
Her post graduate qualifications include a Family Planning Certificate (UK), Diploma in Child Health (UK), Membership of the Royal College of General Practice (UK) and she became a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practice in 2000.
She has an interest women’s health and does regular clinics for the Rural Womens GP Service for the Royal Flying Doctor Service. She also consults for Family Planning NSW and is trained to insert IUCD’s (intrauterine contraceptive devices) which she offers as a service through the practice.
She also offers shared antenatal care, and is interested in mental health and psychological medicine.
