Dr Eoin Mawe moved to the Gold Coast in 2009 and has been practicing in the area for nearly 10 years, having fallen in love with life by the beach. Eoin grew up in Cork City in the south of Ireland and completed his medical degree at University College Cork in 2008.
Eoin is a Fellow of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and is committed to providing comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages. He worked as a hospital doctor in both Ireland and the Gold Coast for several years gaining valuable experience in emergency medicine, paediatrics and hospital medicine.
Passionate about the importance of family medicine and primary care, Eoin has undertaken further training obtaining a Diploma in Child Health through Westmead Children’s Hospital in 2013 and a Primary Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine through Health Cert and Bond University in 2017.
When not at work Eoin loves spending time with his wife, experimenting in the kitchen and coaching gaelic football.
