Dr Emma Ryan completed her undergraduate degree in Medicine at the University of Adelaide. She pursued vocational training in General practice and completed this in 2007; subsequently working in private practice as well as an educator through the University of Adelaide.
Emma left general practice in 2009 to pursue her interest in skin disease and completed her specialist dermatology training in early 2013.
Emma practices both medical and surgical dermatology and retains a strong interest in children's health and medical education, lecturing medical students and supervising dermatology registrars. Particular interests include paediatric dermatology, acne and acne scarring, cancer surveillance and inflammatory skin disease.
Emma has an interest in cosmetic dermatology utilising light and laser treatments, radiofrequency, botox and treats axillary hyperhidrosis with underarm injections.
