Dr Emily Gregory-Roberts (Ophthalmologist)

Dr Emily Gregory-Roberts is a glaucoma specialist, cataract surgeon and general ophthalmologist. She graduated in Medicine from the University of Sydney with honours, and received awards including the Robert Scot Skirving Memorial Prize in Medicine and Surgery and the George Allan Prize for Therapeutics. Following this, she trained in Ophthalmology at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital in Melbourne. Emily then further developed her skills in glaucoma management and glaucoma and cataract surgery working as a clinical fellow at the Oxford Eye Hospital in Oxford, United Kingdom.

As part of a desire to provide the best possible patient care, Emily also has an interest in research. She was awarded an Australian Government Endeavour Research Fellowship and the University of Sydney Lucy Falkiner fellowship to undertake work as a research fellow in the ophthalmology department at Columbia University in New York. Her research has been published in multiple scientific journals, including Ophthalmology and Eye. She has completed a Masters degree in the discipline of Clinical Ophthalmology at the University of Sydney.

As a clinician, Emily aims to understand patients’ problems and concerns and help them by providing up-to-date care with a range of treatment options including medication, laser and surgery.
