Dr Elizabeth Ryrie is joining the team at Westside Medical Centre in January 2019. She completed her medical studies at the Australian National University and spent her years as a junior doctor in Canberra. During this time she completed a Diploma in Child Health. Inspired by its reputation of excellence in medical education and the promise of a better climate, she moved to the Mid North Coast in 2015 to undergo her specialist General Practice training.
After working in clinics in Port Macquarie, North Haven, Kempsey, and completing her General Practice training, she is honoured to be joining the Westside team as a permanent GP.
Dr Ryrie enjoys the variety and continuity of care that General Practice offers. She is particularly interested in paediatrics, women’s health, and palliative care. As well as working at Westside, Dr Ryrie helps staff the Wauchope Palliative Care Unit.
