My name is Dr Liz Coates and I will be your anaesthetist for your up-coming procedure.

My Professional History
Following completion of my medical degree I received my specialist qualification from the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists. I am currently a Visiting Consultant anaesthetist at The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital and have accreditation at The Epworth, Epworth Freemasons, St. Vincent's and Mercy Private Hospital, Frances Perry House, Cotham Private Hospital, and the Victoria Parade Surgery Centre. I have a professional interest in anaesthesia for General Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Eyes, Ear Nose and Throat Surgery and Endoscopy.
I am a regular participant in the Maintenance of Professional Standards Program from the College of Anaesthetists.
My aim is for you to experience as little pain and discomfort as possible after the procedure.
