Joined us in October 2013. Dr Leung completed her medical degree in 2001 at the University of NSW. She has worked in various hospitals in NSW, NT and SA and has been working in general practice since 2006. She completed her PhD in 2015 with her research interest being around primary care perspectives in stroke and TIA (transient ischaemic attack) care. She is an examiner for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and is involved in teaching medical students in the practice. She has a specific interest in paediatrics, obstetric shared care, women’s health and healthy weight management. She is currently training in ultrasound and will be able to offer “point of care” ultrasounds to patients in the future
