Dani is AHPRA registered Clinical and Forensic Psychologist who graduated from Monash University with Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, in 2011. She has extensive experience working with adults with a variety of mental health and personality difficulties in the community as well as in institutional settings.

Dani has a particular interest in the assessment and treatment of antenatal and postnatal mental health. She works with clients 18 years and over who present with: i) stress and anxiety disorders; ii) mood disorders, such as depression; iii) complex trauma reactions, including PTSD; iv) complex grief reactions; v) substance abuse/dependence; vi) various personality difficulties/disorders; and vii) interpersonal/relationship difficulties.

Dani’s psychological assessment and treatment skills are grounded in best practice evidence-based clinical interventions. Her therapeutic framework encompasses Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and associated therapies such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). She has a warm and engaging therapeutic style that seeks to engage and strengthen individual’s innate resilience to be better able to manage difficult thoughts, emotions, and behaviours.
