Dr Dipayan Malakar completed his MBBS from Bangladesh Medical College in Dhaka. He then chose to specialize in Medicine and gain further experience by working in different faculties of Medicine and as a General Practitioner for the last 8 years. He achieved his Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (UK) prior to coming to Australia in 2012. Mother language, Bangla. He has special interest and obtained training in Cardiology (including management of ischaemic heart disease, blood pressure and heart rhythm problems), Diabetes and Thyroid disorders, Respiratory Disorders (including management of asthma & emphysema) Gastrointestinal problems, Joint and Skin diseases as well as emergency medicine. Dipayan loves to travel with a view to explore different cultures. He also enjoys playing cricket and photography. In his free time he likes to watch movies, read medical journals and spend time with family and friends.
