Dr Sam has over 14 years of experience as a Medical Practitioner, he obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from Imperial College School of Medicine in London UK and subsequently undertook postgraduate training in London Hospitals within the specialties of Accident and Emergency, Orthopedic Surgery, General Surgery and Psychiatry, before specialising in General Practice and becoming a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2009. After working 10 years in the National Health Service in the UK, he migrated to Sydney, where he received his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and has worked for the last six years in General Practice in Sydney's western suburbs. He enjoys practicing evidence based family medicine for the prevention and treatment of acute and chronic illness with a keen interest in Diabetes, Asthma, Musculoskeletal injuries and Mental health. Dr Sam maintains regular clinical teaching commitments to medical students and GP trainees and has been appointed as Conjoint Academic Lecturer at the University of Sydney and the University of Western Sydney. Dr Sam has sub-specialised in Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery and has extensive postgraduate qualifications from the University of Queensland in Skin Cancer diagnosis and treatment both medically and surgically. He performs skin cancer checks and is competent at treating skin cancer.  He has extensive experience and qualifications in Cosmetic Dermatology and offers an array of non-surgical cosmetic treatments in the form of anti-ageing injectables such as Botulinum toxin, HA fillers and skin peels. Dr Sam has specialised in Occupational Medicine after having achieved postgraduate certification from the Monash University School of Medicine, Melbourne. He is a Designated Aviation Medical Examiner for the Civil Aviation Safety Association, and is a Registered Rail Safety Medical Assessor. He has a high level of competency and experience in the provision of preventative Occupational Healthcare for your corporate requirements including Pre-employment Medicals and managing Worker’s Compensation cases. He recognises the importance of minimising time off from work and aims to negotiate amended duties with the employer to facilitate a rapid, safe return to pre-injury duties during the rehabilitation process, post injury.
