Dr Jensen is a consultant medical specialist in paediatric endocrinology.
She completed medical school at the University of Queensland and her specialist training at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Brisbane.
She became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2011.
Dr Jensen has also worked in the United Kingdom and Canada, most recently completing a fellowship at the British Columbia Children’s Hospital in Vancouver.
She looks after children with a range of endocrine problems including:
Type 1 Diabetes Growth disorders Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia Thyroid disease Disorders of sexual differentiation. Dr Jensen has a particular interest in bone health, disorders of puberty and endocrine effects of oncology therapy.
She has two children and, in her ‘spare time’, is completing a PhD investigating the management of adolescent obesity.
