Devind Bhullar graduated in medicine in 1991 from the University of Tasmania. Training in medicine and cardiology in Canberra, Queensland and at Fremantle Hospital, he was admitted to Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2001. He completed his interventional cardiology fellowship at National Heart Centre, Singapore.
His interest lies in general cardiology, interventional cardiology and the management of acute and chronic coronary artery disease. Devind also has a special interest in preventative, nutritional and holistic medicine, having completed his fellowship with the Australasian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine.
Devind’s procedural skills include coronary angiography, coronary angioplasty and stenting, pacemaker implantation, transoesophageal echocardiography and renal artery denervation.
He is the cardiologist-in-charge of the Cardiovascular Invasive Laboratories at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and the Head of Intervention at Joondalup Health Campus.
