Dr Debra Tellam grew up in Bundaberg, QLD, and studied medicine at the University of Queensland in Brisbane. She completed her residency at Greenslopes Repatriation Hospital in Brisbane from 1981-1982.
Following this, Dr Tellam worked as GP in Hawker, South Australia, and Dysart in Queensland, before settling in Kingaroy in 1990. She established the practice in Kingaroy, which joined the Ochre network in 2021.
Outside of medicine, Dr Tellam enjoys hiking, cycling, spending time with family, sewing/quilting, and family history.
