Dr David Williams first came to Capalaba Medical Centre in 2005, subsequent to training at Princess Alexandra, Mater Children’s and Queen Elizabeth II Hospitals. He received a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Queensland, after first obtaining a Bachelor of Biomedical Science from Griffith University. He also studied Organisational Behaviour and Zoology at Brigham Young University in the United States.

You can feel confident that your needs will be met, as Dr Williams has a wide range of interests across all areas of General Practice that cover patients from before birth, right up to their twilight years. He enjoys working with all of his patients, and recognises that while, in certain ways we are all similar, everyone has their own unique needs.

Dr Williams likes to try and make himself available whenever the need arises and will attempt to see his patients at the earliest available time. His philosophy is that if there is a problem, then there is a solution. Whether that be the complete resolution of an issue, or perhaps an understanding of why you feel the way you do, he will always work with you to find the right answer. David believes that good health is not merely the absence of illness. Rather, he understands that proper health involves satisfaction in all the areas of life that his patients feel are important to them
