Dr David Lloyd graduated from the University of Sydney in 2012. David completed his residency years in the Hunter New England area working at John Hunter, Calvary Mater, Maitland and Manning Base Hospitals. David also worked as a pharmacist in his home town Dubbo for 5 years prior to returning to complete his medical degree. David has joined Raymond Terrace Family Practice this year as a GP registrar. His interests in medicine include musculoskeletal/sports medicine injuries, paediatrics and general dermatology. He hopes to have completed his training by the end of 2016 and continue to contribute to the health of people in the Hunter in the coming years. Outside of the surgery David is a game day team doctor for the Newcastle Knights Juniors and NSW Cup and has assisted with the Newcastle Jets A-League and Y-League teams. He has various sporting interests including rugby and general fitness.
