Dr Heine has practiced in the North East Victorian region and Albury for 30 years. His special interests have been cataract surgery and oculoplastic surgery; he no longer performs cataract surgery but continues with oculoplastic surgery. He is able to see general ophthalmic conditions including glaucoma and diabetic eye disease.
David studied medicine at Melbourne University and completed a Bachelor of Medical science in the Melbourne University Anatomy department (anatomy of the extra ocular muscles). He completed his ophthalmology training at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital in Mebourne and completed an Anterior segment Fellowship in the Department of Ophthalmology at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital .
David works regular sessions on a part time basis.
