I was born and raised in Australia, started school in Hobart and finished high school in Perth. I studied to become a Doctor at the University of Notre Dame graduating in 2009. With medical and psychiatry experience under my belt, I am an experienced clinician. I completed my psychiatry training in Perth and have worked in many Western Australian hospitals.
I have always been passionate about being a rural clinician and have experience working as a rural doctor. Australian English is my first language and I pride myself on my excellent communication skills. My aim is to cultivate long term relationships with patients, providing mutually agreeable treatment plans with great follow up and care. I want my patients to know they can talk to me freely and in confidence.
Outside of medicine I am a dedicated husband and father to two wonderful boys. Having young children means I know firsthand how difficult having children can sometimes be and am always happy to answer any question, no matter how big or small. I am a fitness and sports enthusiast, supporting Saint Kilda football club and racing motocross. One of my most cherished memories is the year I raced and survived the Manjimup 15000. I feel lucky to be working with the excellent team at the Geographe Clinic in one of the most beautiful places in the world.
