Dr Darius Adybeik is a family medicine specialist and a postgraduate diplomate of dermatology from Cardiff University. He is sub-specialising in Skin Cancer Surgery and Cosmetic Medicine. He is a fellowship candidate of Skin Cancer College of Australasia.
His main areas of interest are skin cancer surgery and injection of fillers and anti-wrinkles. He has been trained by plastic surgeons at Academic Medical Centre, University of Amsterdam in clinical facial anatomy and integrating SAFE concept (Scientific Anatomical Filler Education/Experience) into his cosmetic practice. He has done a visiting fellowship in Dermatologic and Laser Surgery at National Skin Centre in Singapore and has attended in various advanced skin cancer and cosmetic medicine courses. He has special interest in all aspects of skin cancer management including complex skin cancer surgical procedures. Before joining Maitland and Newcastle Dermatology, Darius was working in a plastic surgery setting for 3 years at Queensland, the skin cancer capital of the world, and was trained in advanced skin cancer surgical procedures. He has been a tutor of Skin Cancer College of Australasia since 2015.
