Daniel graduated from the University of Newcastle with a Bachelor of Podiatry with distinction in 2018. He was awarded the Faculty of Health and Medicine Medal and the Australian Podiatry Association award for his achievements during his studies. Prior to completing his Podiatry degree, Daniel completed a Bachelor of Science, majoring in human physiology.
Prior to moving to Perth earlier this year, Daniel worked within the public health system in NSW, working in several hospitals in Sydney, including St Vincent’s Hospital, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Concord Hospital. During this time, Daniel collaborated within multidisciplinary High Risk Foot Clinics and has extensive experience in managing diabetic foot disease and complex comorbidities. Daniel enjoys treating all aspects of podiatry, and has particular interest in diabetes management and assessment, nail surgery and implementing rehabilitation programs to allow people to go about their daily lives pain free.
Outside of the clinic, Daniel is enjoying getting to know all that Perth has to offer, especially the cafés and restaurants! Daniel is also a keen hiker and is looking forward to exploring the many trials in the area and would like to complete the Bibbulmun track end to end one day.
