Dr Daniel Robaei is a clinical cardiologist with subspecialty expertise in the combined fields of interventional cardiology and cardiac imaging. He is a Staff Specialist at Sutherland Hospital and Prince of Wales Hospital, with practising rights also at Prince of Wales Private Hospital, and Kareena Private Hospital.
Dr Robaei completed his medical training in 2006 at the University of New South Wales, graduating with honours. His cardiology training was undertaken at the Prince of Wales Hospital. He subsequently completed a fellowship in interventional cardiology at Prince of Wales Hospital, before embarking on further training in emergency and complex coronary interventions in London, United Kingdom. Dr Robaei is dual subspecialty trained having also undertaken fellowship training in echocardiography at St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney, and CT coronary angiography training in the United States.
Dr Robaei has published widely in the fields of clinical cardiology, interventional cardiology and echocardiography. He has spoken at local and international conferences.
Dr Robaei is a Conjoint Lecturer at the University of New South Wales and has been recognised with a Teaching Excellence award. He has been conferred fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians as well as the European Society of Cardiology.
