Dr Gordon studied medicine at the University of Cape Town and graduated in 2001. He moved to the UK in 2004 where he completed basic surgical training and gained valuable experience in the speciality of otolaryngology (ENT). He then completed general practice training in 2009 and became a GP principal for the next four years. He immigrated to Australia in 2013 where he was granted Fellowship of the Royal College of General Practitioners.
