Dr Colin Crowe has been in private practice with Narcosia Anaestheisa since 2005. His practice involves a wide range of anaestheisa for most surgical specialties including eye, ENT, maxillofacial oesophageal, gastric, hepatic, colorectal, oncogynaecological, obstetrics, urology (including robotics) and orthopaedics for upper and lower limbs. Dr Crowe has particular interests in all types of laparoscopic surgery including oesophagectomy and in joint replacements for shoulders, hips and knees.

Dr Crowe undertook the majority of his anaesthetic training at Princess Alexandra (PA) and the Mater hospitals in Brisbane. He has been actively involved in registrar training at the PA hospital and presented at national scientific conferences. Prior to his career in anaesthesia Dr Crowe worked as Senior Medical Officer for the Royal Flying Doctor Service in Cairns and Alice Springs specializing in remote emergency aeromedical retrievals and aboriginal health. In addition to his Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists, Dr Crowe has attained the Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and Diplomas in Obstetrics, Aviation and Diving medicine.

Dr Crowe is married with two daughters progressing into their secondary school education. When not supporting their numerous sporting and academic activities he enjoys family holidays at the beach or skiing. He loves to go for a run and even sneak in some surfing, paragliding, kite surfing or fly-fishing when time permits.
