I graduated from the University of Melbourne School of Medicine and undertook my ophthalmology training at Sydney Eye Hospital. I was awarded a RANZCO / Alcon travelling scholarship and completed a two year Medical Retina and Uveitis Fellowship at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London.I am involved in clinical trials for age-related macular degeneration and have published several articles in peer-reviewed medical journals and co-written two book chapters in the field of Medical Retina and Uveitis. I am a reviewer for several journals, including Clinical and Experimental Ophthalmology, Acta Ophthalmologica, Ocular Immunology and Inflammation, and European Journal of Ophthalmology.Aside from my work at Visionary Eye Specialists, I am also a Consultant Ophthalmologist at Liverpool Hospital. I particularly enjoy teaching the ophthalmology registrars and am also an examiner for the Graduate Diploma of Ophthalmic Science, University of Sydney.I have extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of age-related macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, retinal vascular disorders, inherited retinal diseases and intraocular inflammation (uveitis and scleritis).
