Cindy-Lee graduated from the University of Queensland in 1993, attained fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practice in 2000, and completed the Family Planning Australia Certificate in Sexual Health and Family Planing in 2006. She enjoys paediatrics and so completed the Diploma in Child Health in 2009. Cindy-Lee has worked in a variety of roles throughout Australia and overseas. Her husband’s work took her to New Zealand for 4 years, and they spent 18 months on Christmas Island where she worked in the role of Senior Medical Officer at the local hospital. Her husband’s work brought them back to Brisbane but a love of travel and the Outback has seen her do more than a dozen rural locums over her 20 years in General Practice.
Most recently, Cindy-Lee and her family spent 3 months volunteering at an Orphanage and Hospital in Nepal and have come home most grateful for winning the lottery and being born in Australia!
In her spare time, Cindy-Lee enjoys entertaining, reading, hiking and negotiating the journey of having teenage children.
