Dr Woollard graduated from Flinders University in Adelaide in 2010 and obtained his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2015.
In the last 4 years, Dr Woollard worked as a doctor in the Australian Army and then more recently as a general practitioner in private practice. After many years of moving due to work and study, Dr Woollard has decided to live permanently in Hervey Bay with his wife and 3 children.
Dr Woollard enjoys helping patients with chronic disease management and provides GP Management and Team Care Plans. He is interested in all aspects of General Practice and has a special interest in veterans’ health and sports medicine. Dr Woollard also visits the local nursing homes.
Dr Woollard is a designated Aviation Medical Examiner with the Civil Aviation Safety Authority. He is also accredited to perform dive medicals.
Dr Woollard is also actively involved in the local medical community and holds a number of roles with organisations including Central Queensland, Wide Bay, Sunshine Coast PHN and University of Queensland.
When Dr Woollard is not working as a doctor, he enjoys spending time with family and keeping fit.
