Dr Christopher Vernon (Urologist)
Dr Vernon has commenced private practice at Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital.
Since graduating from the University of Tasmania in 2002, Dr Vernon has worked in regional and rural Queensland as part of his Queensland Health Rural Scholarship commitment. He completed his surgical training in Queensland and passed his fellowship examinations in 2012.
Dr Vernon completed his fellowship training at the Nambour General Hospital at the end of 2012. gaining further experience in general urology including complex stone management, urological oncology, and Lower Urinary Tract Dysfunction. He has remained at the Nambour Hospital since then as a full time Staff Specialist.
He is involved with teaching junior medical staff, nursing staff and is a Senior Lecturer with University of Queensland.
Dr Vernon provides general urological expertise, including urological oncology, stone disease, Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia, incontinence and erectile dysfunction.
He is happy to be contacted by GPs and specialists to discuss further management of patients.
