Attended medical school at the University of auckland, graduating in 2001. Prior to surgical training, two years were spent in Gisborne, New Zealand, for intern and resident years including 6 months in General Practice; 9 months in the UK/ Ireland as a senior house oficer; and 3 months in plastic surgery at Middlemore Hospital in Auckland.
General Surgical training (2005-2011) at St. Vincent's Hospital, Melbourne, with one year at Kings College Hospital in London for Emergency and Intensive Care rotations. Granted FRACS in February 2011. Accepted to post-fellowship training on the CSSANZ scheme with the first year spent in Auckland City Hospital and second year at the Gold Coast Hospital. Achieved membership of CSSANZ in October 2013.
Since completing colorectal training in February 2013 appointments are held at Logan Hospital, Queen Elizabeth II Hospital, Princess Alexandra Hospital and the Mater Private Hospital.
