Dr Christopher Chahoud is a specialist Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. Chris qualified in Medicine from the University of Queensland and in Dentistry from the University of Sydney. He has a masters degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a surgical fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. After registering as a specialist in 1995, Chris commenced private practice with consulting rooms located in both Brisbane City and Browns Plains.
Dr Chahoud's areas of expertise include wisdom tooth removal, orthagnathic (reconstructive jaw) surgery, dental implants, facial trauma and oral pathology. Passionate about his discipline, he is actively involved in the lecturing and mentoring of post graduate students and dentists. He is a member of the Australian and New Zealand Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Australian Medical Association, Australian Dental Association, Australian Association of Facial Plastic Surgeons and is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.
