Dr Christine Mitchell trained in Adelaide University, graduating in 1999. She then worked in Adelaide in Paediatrist General Medicine. After travelling around Australia she moved to Townsville in 2002. She completed her Fellowship in General Practice training in 2007 and has worked at Mundingburra Medical Centre since 2007. Dr Mitchell has a special interest in cancer, and also works in medical oncology at The Townsville Hospital. Her other interests include all aspects of family medicine from antenatal care to end of life
