Dr Marathe is an Australian-trained endocrinologist and a postdoctoral fellow based at the University of Adelaide. He is the current recipient of Australian Diabetes Society Skip-Martin Early Career Fellowship. He undertook specialist training in diabetes and endocrinology at Adelaide (Royal Adelaide and Queen Elizabeth Hospitals) and London (King’s College London). His special clinical interests are diabetes, thyroid disorders and osteoporosis.
Dr. Marathe has completed a PhD at University of Adelaide, maintains an active interest in diabetes research and publishes regularly in international peer-reviewed journals.
