I work with clients who are keen to understand their problems and make changes in their lives. I work with emotional and relationship problems of various kinds. This includes distress from anxiety, depression, couple/marital/parenting/family/work relationships, traumatic experiences (including grief and loss), and managing normal life phases, transitions and adjustments. My main areas of expertise are with men, parents, adults with ADHD, as well as children/adolescents with anxiety disorders.

I use various therapeutic models and styles. I modify therapy and my personal approach to meet the individual needs of the client, while ensuring I have a strong therapeutic working alliance, and being informed by research evidence and best clinical practice. Thus, sometimes therapy is brief (less than ten sessions) or medium-term (10-30 sessions), frequent, structured, active; and sometimes it is more reflective and looking at life long patterns over a longer treatment duration (30+ sessions); or with multiple relationships (family) but infrequently (e.g. monthly); and sometimes just generally supportive, infrequent, or maintenance oriented.

I see clients who have:

Anxiety disorders (including OCD) Depression ADHD PTSD Parenting Couple and family difficulties Work-related stress
