Dr Van graduated from Adelaide University in 2000. She worked in internal medicine and the emergency departments for several years before commencing her general practice career in 2006. The ensuing 13 years of general practice had been in the western suburbs of Adelaide and 5 of those years were at Harbour Medical Services. She rejoined Harbour Medical Services in 2019.
Dr Van enjoys a variety in family medicine. She speaks fluent Vietnamese. Her interests include good poetry and books (especially books about maps or almost anything relating to maps). She enjoys running, travelling and being outdoors
