Dr Charles Armstrong is a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist. He graduated from Leicester Medical School, England, and has undertaken specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology in England, Scotland and New Zealand, culminating in a fellowship year in Perth.
Dr Armstrong has been working at King Edward Memorial Hospital (KEMH) for more than 10 years, and now has a primarily gynaecological focus at the hospital.
Dr Armstrong is the Head of Department Obstetrics and Gynaecology at St John of God Mount Lawley Hospital where his obstetric and gynaecological private practice is based.
Dr Armstrong’s practice covers the full breath of obstetric care, and a comprehensive gynaecological service; including menstrual disorders, advanced laparoscopic surgery; for endometriosis, adnexal pathology, total laparoscopic hysterectomy, and also incontinence and prolapse surgery.
He continues to have an interest in teaching, and is involved in undergraduate teaching of students from both the University of Western Australia and the University of Notre Dame, and post-graduate teaching of registrars at KEMH.
