Dr Chalani Weerasinghe grew up in Melbourne. She completed a Bachelor of Radiography and Medical Imaging at Monash University, before working in the field of 6 year years. She then moved to Canberra, which is now home, to complete her medical degree at the ANU. Chalani has since obtained her fellowship in General Practice, and a Diploma in Child Health.
Chalani is a TIGP founder, and is passionate about providing comprehensive, thorough and evidence-based care to her patients.
Chalani's special interests are lifestyle medicine (in which she's undertaking further studies), and chronic disease management.
