Dr Allen will be joining the practice from day one and in her role as the Medical Coordinator, will be responsible for leading the clinical team and establishing the medical centre as the number one practice in Wollongong. She is a highly respected supervisor and mentor and is actively involved in GP registrar training and assessment via her involvement with RACGP. Dr Allen also teaches and mentors medical students through the Graduate School of Medicine programme at UOW. Her area of interests include obstetrics and gynaecology (including shared care obstetrics), paediatrics, women’s health, minor procedures, including Implanon and Mirena insertion and removal, skin biopsy/ minor excisions. Other interests include Mental Health, Geriatric and Travel medicine (Yellow Fever certified provider).
