Catherine is a Clinical Psychologist with experience working within a variety of settings in the UK and Australia. Her areas of special interest lie within health psychology and pain management as well as the effective treatments for personality disorders, having completed her Intensive DBT Training, accredited by Behavioural Tech.

She currently lectures at Southern School of Natural Therapies on a course that she wrote, teaching the psychosocial aspects of pain management to Clinical Myotherapists. She has conducted research looking at pain in Guillain-Barre Syndrome and Multiple Sclerosis and has contributed to texts written for mental health nurses.

She uses up-to-date, evidence based practice and a strong therapeutic alliance when working with clients to help them to achieve their best possible outcome. Catherine is accredited to provide: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT); Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT); as well as being an Intensively Trained Dialectical Behaviour Therapist (DBT).
