Cathy has been practicing as a GP since 1995. After attaining her medical credentials in London, Cathy travelled to Australia on a six month working holiday. Twenty years later, she is still here doing what she loves - helping people to live healthy and happy lives. During that time, Cathy has worked in a number of areas including Far North Queensland; however she has always come back to Brisbane, a place she now calls home. Cathy's favourite thing about being a GP is being able to support patients to make positive changes in their lives. Whilst she loves all aspects of general medicine, Cathy's special interest areas include women's health, sexual and reproductive health, family planning, antenatal care, depression and preventative medicine. When she is not working, Cathy enjoys watching her two children play sport, running, yoga, cooking and pottering around the garden.
