Cassandra grew up on Sydney’s North Shore and graduated from Sydney University’s Medical School in 1988. She did her post-graduate hospital training at Sydney’s Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, including a year of community medicine training in such things as palliative care and geriatrics. She then spent a year at Sydney Children’s Hospital where she attained the Diploma of Paediatrics. Deciding on a career in general practice, Cassandra attained Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of GPs and has been working as a GP ever since.
Cassandra has been working in the Mosman/Cremorne area for many years, and has been here at General Practice Cremorne since its inception. She is also accredited with Royal North Shore Hospital’s Antenatal Shared Care programme and has admitting and visiting rights at Mosman Private Hospital. She is interested in all aspects of general practice, including women and children’s health.
When not working, Cassandra is kept nice and busy looking after her 4 boys. She loves running (just as well) and keeping up with her boys’ many sporting commitments, even to the extent of being the team doctor on several occasions!
