Dr Casey Maddren has been living and working in the Cairns area since mid 2013. Prior to joining Trinity GPs she worked in Yarrabah for Gurriny Yaelamucka Health Services Aboriginal Corporation and part time as a lecturer for James Cook University. She completed General Practice training in Western Sydney working in the Blue Mountains, Winsdor and Penrith areas. Originally from country WA she completed her medical degree obtaining honours in Perth Western Australia and completed her internship at Fremantle Hospital in WA. After moving to Sydney in 2008 she worked in various roles at Nepean Hospital for 2 yrs. She is committed to comprehensive whole person patient care. She is married with two sons, enjoys cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
