Dr. Carolyn Choy graduated in medicine from the University of Sydney in 1998 and is a fellow of the Royal College of Pathologist of Australasia. In 1995 after completing specialist anatomical pathology training at Prince of Wales Hospital Sydney, she worked in Queen Mary Hospital Hong Kong for 8 years where she gained wider experience in the area of lymphoma pathology, through close collaborative study with the clinical haematology department resulting in several publications of the subject. In working at the main teaching hospital of the University of Hong Kong, she was actively participating in teaching and education of undergraduates and postgraduates on anatomical pathology.

Dr. Choy has over 10 years experience in Dermatopathology since joining the Foundation in 2004 as a full time pathologist. She is currently working in Darlinghurst 4 days a week. She is the co-ordinator in the laboratory quality assurance programme and organiser for the dermatopathology teaching to dermatology registrars.

Carolyn has a keen interest in skin diseases related to immunity and senescence, with particular emphasis in disease prevention at the cellular biological level.
