Dr Caroline Wright is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Sydney and a Colorectal Surgeon at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. Graduating from St. Mary’s Hospital Medical School, London, she trained in General Surgery in Queensland and gained her FRACS in 1998. Post Fellowship training in Colorectal Surgery included 2 years research in Brisbane, leading to a Master of Surgery by Research, and a year as a Clinical Fellow at RPAH. Clinical interests include pelvic floor disorders and genetic aspects of colorectal cancer. Dr Wright also has a strong interest in teaching and co-ordinates the Central Clinical School medical student Stage 3 Surgical Programme.
