Dr Carol Adib is a dermatologist with an interest in general dermatology (adult and children, skin cancer (including skin cancer surgery) and rashes – eczema, psoriasis, acute and chronic dermatitis, hair disorders, nail disorders, pigmentation disorders. She commenced practice at the Wesley in 2008.

Dr Adib graduated from the University of Queensland of 1998. She subsequently undertook dermatology training in Brisbane, Ireland and Edinburgh, attaining fellowship with the Australasian College of Dermatologists in 2007. As part of her training, Dr Adib working in Ireland where she was exposed to a different and wider spectrum of dermatology.

Dr Adib was awarded a postgraduate MD (Doctor of Medicine) in 2009 from the University of Edinburgh for her dermatology research work on skin pigmentation and ultraviolet radiation, undertaken at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. Her research interest in skin pigmentation and ultraviolet radiation lends itself to Queensland dermatology and the issues pertaining to skin cancer prevention.
